Assistant/Apprentice Hairstylist
I am looking for a motivated and reliable stylist to join me as either an assistant or an apprentice. Which position the stylist starts in will be determined by their current level of experience. The training program is self paced. I believe that everyone learns at a different pace, and different services may take more time to perfect.
Assistant
As an Assistant Stylist, you will support salon operations by providing excellent customer service, assisting with hair treatments and styles, and maintaining a clean and organized salon environment. Assisting is all about getting comfortable with the salon, our clients, and the culture.
15-25 hours per week
Apprentice
As an Apprentice Stylist, you will start to hone your skills. In addition to previous duties, an Apprentice will engage in 3-5 hours of training per week. Apprenticeship is self paced. This training period is to get comfortable performing the services we offer in the salon. Once the Apprentice is proficient and confidant in each service they can test-out to level up to the next service category. As the Apprentice has masters a service category they may offer services in that category at a discounted rate.
25 hours per week
New Talent
This level is all about the stylist continuing to hone their skills and start to build their business. In addition to continued education in technical skills, stylists will learn how to create a successful Business and future in the Hair Industry.
32 hours per week
